Artemis was the first digital viewfinder for smartphones and over the years has become an indispensable tool for professional filmmakers; used by Oscar winners and film students the world over. We’ve been amazed that our little experiment on an iPhone has been embraced by the industry to become the default choice for directors, students and cinematographers all over the world. Every day it helps people line up shots that become the world’s favorite moments in film and television.
Artemis Pro is the next generation of digital viewfinder. Built from the ground up, it incorporates a wealth of features that directors and cinematographers have shouted for (it can be loud in pubs and bars). So, after several hundred rounds (of work and testing), it’s ready for you all.
VIDEOWith Artemis Pro you can now record video, trim the ends and add custom title cards.
FRAMELINE GENERATORYou can now create custom framelines for any shape size or aspect ratio you like.
LOOKSArtemis Pro comes with an in-built series of looks that emulate LUTS. You can also create your own looks and import Photoshop curves.
HELIOS PROIf you have Helios Pro installed, Artemis Pro can fold sun data into reports that you can send to colleagues.
OVERLAYSAlso included is a library of silhouettes that can be used as virtual stand-ins on the live camera feed and in storyboards.
Previously, Artemis had only one limitation and that was the field of view of the camera on the device. In the Super 35mm sensor format, the widest lens you could view is around 22mm. However, Artemis now works with a range of supplementary lenses to widen the field of view if you need it. It also has a secret trick up its sleeve called Virtual Wide Mode to help you get full coverage in your photos.
Nothing wrong with my traditional methods. It's digital correction gone mad.
