Shipping features from LA to Budapest in 48 hours
A cinematographer prepping a feature in Budapest had a deadline closing in. From the email to a build in his hands took two days.
Artemis Studio has become the backbone of our organizational approach. We used it in prep, use it on set for line ups, and constantly check back to our script based folder structure to reference our shot planning.
Jaron Presant, ASC was a week from shooting a feature in Budapest when he sent an email. His shot lists weren’t exporting fast enough. Forty-eight hours later, a TestFlight build landed on his Mac.
What shipped
- Smarter reference image handling. Reference frames are now intelligently downsampled for print, with no loss of visual quality. The result is smaller export sizes and faster render times.
- Scene-aware exports. Now optional: export the whole project as one PDF or one PDF per scene, organized in folders. Useful when a single scene has been revised and reprinting a 300-page document for the AD’s binder isn’t an option.
On set, with you
Artemis Studio is on more film sets every month, across features, episodics, commercials, and indies. Cinematographers, ADs, and assistants are using it from prep through wrap, and the work they do with it is shaping where it goes next. If you’re planning a production, we’d love to be part of it.
